Tokyo Orphans, 1945

"Tokyo Orphans, whose amusements are few, play 'tea party' in the street. They try to imitate the exact ritual of tea drinking, in which every move of the hand, every position of the body has a traditional significance. These children are playing unattended in the streets because air raids have destroyed their homes and killed their parents."
