Poster Warning Against Koreans

"This Japanese poster, distributed by the Tokyo Ueno Police Station and supported by the Ueno Association of Anti-Crime and Security, appeared all over the downtown area of Tokyo in 1947. It warns the householder [housewives] to beware of dangerous robbers. With the Korean flag symbol as its central motif, it implies that Koreans are the likely criminals."
