Pontocho Geisha Party

"This is a typical enkai (party) in Pontocho, at the teahouse Uzuki. Raimitsu, a famous dancer of Pontocho, performs the dance "Kurodabushi," with Raichiyo playing the samisan. The male guest at the right is Suejiro Takenaka, business manager of the Pontocho Theatre since 1928. Seated to his right is the famous dancer Momiji."
