The Young Princesses, 1948

As explained in the original caption, "The princesses (Suge, age 9; Yuri, age 17; Taka, age 19) spent their summer vacation alone in the Imperial Villa at Nasu where they cultivated their own garden and did their own cooking. It is part of their training for wifehood upon which the Empress insists."
