Demonstration
An oil painting from 1947 entitled, "Demo," for demonstration. It is thought that the man at the middle, the one with flowing hair, is the artist himself. Perhaps this is a reference to General MacArthur's cancellation of a general strike planned for February 1, 1947. But once again, women are not depicted as part of the public crowd and labor activism.
