Repatriation Demonstration

About 4,000 people, many of them wives, at a mass meeting in Tokyo's Hibiya Hall, September 27, 1948, in a desperate attempt to encourage repatriation of approximately 580,000 Japanese still held by the Soviet Union in forced labor camps.
