Christine Borgman to Keynote
We are very pleased to announce the second of our two keynotes, Christine Borgman, Professor & Presidential Chair in Information Studies at UCLA. Professor Borgmann is the author of two recent books from the MIT Press, From Gutenberg to the Global Information Infrastructure and Scholarship in the Digital Age: Information, Infrastructure, and the Internet. An ideal speaker for us given the close affinity between MITH and Maryland’s own iSchool, she will bring a focus on cyberinfrastructure, scholarly communication, and digital libraries to the keynote events.
