The Maryland Institute for Technology in the Humanities (MITH) is seeking a part-time Graduate Assistant to work on “BitCurator,” a Mellon-funded digital humanities and archives project in collaboration with the School of Information and Library Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The GA will be responsible for creating documentation, beta testing software, organizing meetings, corresponding with partner institutions, and conducting publishable research on digital forensics for archives.
Excellent research, written and oral communication, and organizational skills are mandatory. Interest in digital humanities and/or digital libraries and archives is highly desirable.
