Jean Fox O'Barr Professorship in Interdisciplinary Feminist Studies
The Program in Women's Studies continues to invite applications and
nominations for the Jean Fox O'Barr Professorship in Women's Studies to
begin September 1, 2004. We seek a distinguished senior scholar at the
rank of Full Professor with Tenure who possesses the following:
- An established research record in feminist studies (field open);
- Demonstrable commitment to Women's Studies as an interdisciplinary field;
- A strong understanding of gender's relation to race, class, and sexuality;
- Expertise in a variety of methodologies (broadly conceived); and
- Experience in teaching interdisciplinary courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
This is the second year of a two year search. The position is open until filled.
