The conceptualisation of your research topic and containerisation sounds fascinating, as does the sites you’ve identified to visit. I’m in the middle of my PhD journey and am fortunate to have a partner who emphasised the value of ‘everything begins with a clear outline that you stick to’ and finding those 2-3 hours a day when you are clearest to write. You seem to have adopted a similar strategy. I figure PhD candidates have the greatest gift of anyone, having the time to think deeply and write. It is nice to see others value this unique few years during life. I’m sure you’ll continue to lead a thoughtful & contributory life going forward having established an excellent foundation on the important topic of how we manage and store knowledge.

Good article. I’d also mention that decorating links with (among other things) the datetimes can be a simple but really useful way to aid rediscovery and convey temporal intention. See:

The overview and notes on scale and considerations are particularly important for how we do what’s needed in a workable manner to ensure the ability to provide support for many projects. Thanks to Trevor for sharing a great description of the work at MITH and of needs for new supports which we, as a community, can develop and improve upon together! […]
