Several years ago I created an art exhibition inspired by the Degenerate Art show in Munich for a play at a Stage Left Theatre in Chicago. Steve had two pieces in the show - a piece he created for his MA thesis show, and the one he replaced it with when the university censored his original piece (which was simply a text describing the first piece, if I remember correctly). I have a photo of the piece - and now I have to figure out if I can attach that in the comments. Hitting the wall of my tech abilities... I like the rewriting of monsters as "holy" and (in Seeley's mythology" more "natural" (belonging to Earth) than humans. Maybe we need to start a list of "positive monsters"? Andrew Stauffer responded to a tweet I wrote about monsters displaying "flaws and failings" privileging conformity that "Jazz musicians call someone a Monster who can play multiple instruments amazingly well".
