Speakers: Swedish socio-economist Karl Gunnar Myrdal, author of An American Dilemma: The Negro Problem and Modern Democracy; and writer and social critic David Bazelon, author of Power in America: the Politics of the New Class, who argues that the individuals who staff industrial bureaucracies of the industrial order are part of a new socioeconomic class.
