WEEKLY ASSIGNMENTS (30% of grade) EACH TUESDAY HAND IN: Two DOUBLE SPACED pages of TYPED comments (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO YOUR VIEWS) on some aspect of the readings for the week. Two questions or comments for class discussion. NB: You can miss handing in 2 of these weekly assignments for any reasons -but no papers will be accepted after the class discussion has already occurred even if you were not in class. The remaining 10 papers will be graded (0 to 3) to total of 30% of your final grade. 2. CLASS GROUP PRESENTATION: 40% Group choice of a topic -ideas are attached to the course outline below. Presentations are to be one class in length and designed to promote class discussion for at least 30 minutes of class time. One grade will be assigned to the group. 3. FINAL PAPER 30%. TOPIC OF YOUR CHOICE. This paper should be no longer than 15 pages. NB: Topic must be approved by November 18th. Hand in description of your topic. FINAL PAPER is due in last class, December 2nd.
