48th Session on the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW)

The Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) will hold its 48th Session from March 1st through March 12th 2004 at the UN Headquarters, New York. During this session the Commission will focus on the role of men and boys in achieving gender equality and women’s equal participation in conflict prevention, management and conflict resolution and post-conflict peace-building.

NEWW is an NGO in special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations. While NEWW is able to provide accreditation for NEWW members to attend the CSW meeting in March 2004, we do not provide financial support for travel expenses or any other expenses related to participation.
